The first shooting of Inferno is set for May 2 in Palazzo Vecchio, where the crew will work until May 7. About a thousand people in Florence have queued to participate in the casting of the film, in view of the shooting. The casting managers said that they are looking for about 2000 extras. In the meanwhile Ron Howard continues his tour to the Tuscan capital to plan the final details before the official clapperboard. The director has posted on Twitter several pictures of Florence.
